Whata summa!
Summer's almost over - but not over yet!Some highlights -
Camping in June at Lake Michigan:
It was early June & chilly at night! But fun none-the-less. :)
Indoor rock climbing:
At one time I "peeled" (fell) off the wall. I was holding onto a tiny rock & while looking for my next handhold, my fingers couldn't take it anymore. I said to Jamie "I'm falling, catch me, here I go!" Yeah!!! She caught me! The person holding the other end of that rope sure has an important job - Jamie did great!
Camping at the old farm:
I went camping here around the 4th of July. At one point while reading under the pavilion (the first picture's vantage point) a buck still in velvet (at least a 6-point) and a doe meandered through this field while I surreptitiously watched. So cool. So peaceful & restful.
My outhouse without a house tucked in the blue spruce. Not bad unless the bugs are biting! ;D
I'm on vacation right now but just taking it easy, doing a whole lot of nothing. I may do more later in the week. Right now the weather is cool and wet which says "kick back & chill" - so I think I will.
