Fire! Update.

FYI...

An article was in the paper today about the fire on the first page of "local-state". It stated Consumers was working on that pole earlier in the day. They think the fire started by a lightening strike but my Mom didn't see any lightening (I was in an inner room at the time it first occurred and she called me out). As soon as they got the fire report, they returned right away. Apparently, 3000 people were without power, not to mention Michigan Adventure Park and Howmet. Two sub-stations blew out from it with one being restored by about 5:30PM (not ours) and the other being restored about 8:30PM (ours - my boss emailed me this morning telling me the power wasn't on yet at the shop by 7PM last night). Today, all appeared normal except a rather blackened power pole (the ground is probably crispy but I can't see that from the shop).

It was probably a UFO! The gov't is trying to cover it up by saying it was "lightning"!
